Thanksgiving Blessings

Well, a lot has happened this Thanksgiving for the Boswell home. We lost one of our dachshunds a little over a month ago. It broke our hearts, and we were not quite ready to get another dog to go with our little miniature dachshund, but we started seeing signs of different behavior from our little brave Toby. We saw that in one of our other dogs and didn't want that to happen, so we decided to get another dog. We got the chance for a little three-month-old short-haired black and tan dachshund for the right amount of money, and we picked him up last Saturday. We named him Jack Black. It was a war for a day and a half with our older dog, who was not so happy at first, but as he realized what he was, he started to warm up to him by the second day. On Friday after Thanksgiving, we got a text from where we got Jack, wanting to know if we might want Jack's brother. After talking it over, we decided it might be better for Toby since Jack was wearing down our six-year senior. Toby has a lot of energy but not nearly as much as a three-month-old puppy. Surprisingly, when he met his new brother Jack, it was love at first sight, and Jack was so happy to see his brother. Now it is utter chaos in our house of puppy play and toys everywhere, but our senior is much happier. We are happy too with our new pack of dachshunds.

We have not much time to work on an new wreaths, but as things settle down, we will be doing so more. I have one almost finished now. Keep watching.
