Rainy Days of Summer

After a very dry summer so far, this last week has brought much needed rain. I love to see the way that nature can come back to life after the heat of the sun seems to dry everything up. With the Rain came bright green lawns, flowers budding out that were not there just a day before, and everything just looks fresh and renewed. Without the rain, nothing would grow. It reminds us of how important it is to growth. Everything on earth depends on the rain, but sometimes we get too much of a good thing. Now, it won't stop raining long enough to get the grass cut which seems to be almost taking over, but I am still grateful for the rain.
